A very warm welcome to you from
and to the Political Intelligence™ diagnostic..

Before starting the diagnostic please read the following in full. It contains background information on the questionnaire and instructions on how to complete.

The Political Intelligence™ diagnostic is an experientially developed, self-administered behavioural instrument that will provide you with insights into your own political preferences.
It is not a test that can be passed or failed.
It has no relation to, or link with, levels of intelligence.
It is confidential to us and you.

The Political Intelligence™ diagnostic can assist you to:
  • Identify your personal preferences with regard to political behaviour
  • Understand how you view the organisational world
  • Determine your level of Political Intelligence™
  • Find out the extent to which you are able to align your own goals to those of the organisation
  • Gain self-understanding and acceptance of the different types of political 'animals' that exist in organisations
  • Consider what changes you may need to make to become more politically intelligent
  • Increase harmony and productivity by sharing a common language when interacting with others on organisational politics
  • Identify different types of political 'animals' that exist in organisations
  • Work out how you are going to work effectively with people you perhaps don't like
  • Get things achieved in your organisation in spite of the politics

Remember that the diagnostic is not a test and has been designed for it to be a powerful learning and development tool for you.

Remember that there are no right or wrong answers.
